Ever since Boy had become God he was able to know everything about anyone he had come in contact with. As soon as Nate sat down with him, he knew right away that Nate had broken up with his girlfriend and that he was actually in the process of experimenting with new relationships.
“So, Nate… What do you want to do?” Boy asked him.
“I was kinda hoping we could maybe go to the mall together, dude…” Nate said to his teammate.
Boy sensed right away that Nate was feeling a little depressed.
“What’s the matter? Things didn’t go well with Jenny?” Boy asked him.
“Oh man… How did you know about that?” Nate sighed. “We broke up. I’m tired of girls. I don’t like girls anymore. I kinda want to try… something else…”
Boy and Nate started walking towards the mall when they approached the bus stop.
“Oh man! I don’t wanna take the bus! That will take another thirty minutes for us to get there!” Nate grumbled.
“Okay, Nate! Can you keep a secret?” Boy said to him.
“Uhh… Sure… I guess…” Nate shrugged.
“I can get us to the mall in a split second!” Boy cheered. “Watch!”
Boy just snapped his fingers and in a blink of an eye both Boy and Nate were standing at the entrance to the shopping mall!
“Holy frick! BOY! How the hell did you do that?” Nate gasped.
“Easy! I’m God!” Boy smiled.
Nate just stared at him for several moments with his jaw wide open.
“You… Whoa… Say what?”
“I can do anything!” Boy responded. “I’m omnipotent! But, don’t tell anybody!”
Boy then pointed his fingers at the glass door, which opened automatically for the two boys, and closed when the boys passed through them and entered the mall.
