As soon as Amy had left her locker, she got in the car with her parents who drove her home. As soon as they arrived back, her mom and dad left to go to the hardware store and left her home so she should do her homework.
Amy was a really smart girl, and she had already done all her research for her English paper. All she needed to do now was to type up her report.
“I wish I could type a thousand words per minute!” she grinned.
She got on her laptop and started typing it up and she raced through her paper! She typed in her four-page paper at an amazing speed, finishing it in no time!
“Whoa! I typed that really fast!” she said, looking at her watch. “Under a minute!”
She began to wonder about all the cool things which had happened to her since soccer practice.
“Hmm… I want Mr. James to come here now so I can ask him something…” she said to herself.
In an instant, John James, the geeky next door neighbor, pops up in your bedroom!
“Whoa!” he gasps, as he looks around the room. He is wearing a t-shirt and shorts. He immediately recognizes you and smiles. “Looks like I have been summoned by a Goddess!”
“Mr. James! Strange things have been going on since this morning! What did you do to me?” she asks him with a smile on her face.
“Well, I hope those strange things have been GOOD things, Amy!” he replies. “You were in such a hurry to go to soccer practice that I didn’t have the time to explain!”
“Yeah… So… You just said that I’m a Goddess?”
“Yes! You drank the only sample I had of a very complicated formula I had created that makes a human being completely omnipotent!” he added.
“Whoa! You made me… Omnipotent!” she gasped. “So… I can do anything?”
“Yes, that is correct!”
“So, have you made any more of this formula?” she wondered.
“No, I haven’t. I just made enough for one person!”
“And you gave it to ME! Why, thank you, Mr. James!” she cheered, as she walked up to him and embraced him. “That was the nicest thing you could have done for me!”
“You’re welcome, Amy! You’re a great girl and you deserve it!”
“But, you’re not going to make any more of it, right?” she said.
“Not unless you say so.” John said. “You are in charge now.”
“Well, I want you to forget about the formula!” Amy smiled. “It is way too dangerous. Forget you ever made it for me!”
John blinked.
“Umm, what formula are you talking about?”
“Ohh… Never mind, Mr. James. You’re such a nice guy! Thanks for coming by! You can go home now!” Amy giggled.
And in an instant, John vanished, and popped back in his own house again.
“Ahh… Great! Now I can have some fun as a Goddess!” Amy grinned, as she got up, snapped her fingers and instantly changed her clothes.
Her outfit changed into some running shoes, shorts and a nice, comfortable top. She decided to go out.
