"R.L."Was all she said as she looked at you as if you were a simple annoyance that she wished would simply go away.
"...I'll just get back to jogging now."You say after a minute of silence, only for her bandaged foot to slam down right in front of you, keeping you from going anywhere.
"No. We need to...talk."
"...About what?"You gasped out, about to have a heartache from the shock of a bus-sized foot nearly squashing you.
"You're behind on your rent."
"But Cadence already payed for it!"
"That's right."She smirked."Cadence payed for her rent. Yours is still due."
"I...don't have any money. Right now."You replied. You didn't even have a job. Why had Nefernina brought this up now? Was it because you were alone and didn't have your 300ft. zombie caretaker to defend you? Perhaps, but the mummy woman had always had it out for you since day one. You've never mentioned it before, but numerous times you've found that she's actually tried to squash you like a bug when you walked along the floor sometimes. If other monsters were around, she would say that she didn't see you, or that she was 'checking the condition of the apartment'. It was a bunch of bull, and you knew it.
