She's expecting a visit from her mother

Cadence wrote out her problem and then you read her giant handwriting. "Your mother is coming for a visit." Cadence lets out a grunt and nods her head. "What's the big deal? My family can't visit me in this monster town. It's too dangerous." Cadence just let out a few moans and you could tell that she had a few issues. And then she pointed to you. Your eyes popped. "You didn't tell her about me." Cadence shook her head and then grunted again. You could tell she wasn't sure what her mother would think about you. "Oh come on, I'm sure we'll get along great." Cadence let out a moan to say she was unsure and then picked you up.

Soon, the two of you had entered the lobby and were waiting for Cadence's mother to show up. Cadence was so nervous that she was biting her fingers off. You've seen her do this before and you thank your lucky stars that they can be reattached. But you're wondering. Cadence is a zombie, so that should mean her mom would be a zombie, but Cadence looks as if she died young from her physical appearance. As you're trying to think the matter over, you see that gorgon Georgia walking towards you both and you cover your eyes in case Georgia forgot to wear her glasses again. Last time that happened, Nefernina had to explain a missing person's report to the pizza place and dispose of a statue discreetly.

"Head's up Cadence," said Georgia. "Your mother's here." This is the big moment, you're about to meet Cadence's mom.
