It had been 12 hours since the girl had been kidnapped from her village by goblins. She had been taken in her sleep, a spell cast upon her by the goblins' sinister witchdoctor, and carried to their cave dwelling in the nearby hills. Determined to save their friend from a fate worse than death, Kara and Raven bravely set out into the treacherous hills, armed to the teeth, and ready for adventure!
With a determined mindset Kara continued to hike onwards, her trusty bo warstaff over her back. She glanced around, observing the land and nodding slightly to herself. "Hmm...we should be here there soon, you keeping up?" She asked, turning to her companion. Raven was right behind her, and rolled her eyes as she scanned the rocky landscape for any sign of their friend. As expected, however, she was nowhere in sight. However, she did spot fresh tracks on the ground beside them. Tapping Kara on the back, Raven said quietly, "Look... goblin tracks! They lead this way..." The nightelf gestured toward a particularly steep side of the hill, in an increasingly rocky area. Kara trusted her companion's intuition, but also noticed some tracks nearby -- no doubt made by goblin raiders -- heading in several other directions.
Besides the tracks that led into the hills, there were tracks that led into a forest, and into a nearby swamp.
