Blue and white were not only colors Shepard associated with Liara, but now also her new favorite treat: blueberry swirl cheesecake, which was something Liara had been making for her quite a lot lately. In fact, the creamy cakes were most directly responsible for Shepard’s new creamy belly. Despite how much she had been eating them lately, Shepard was still every bit excited to see her bondmate approaching with an entire cake for her as she was the first time.

The tummy rubs, the extravagant meals, the long hours of cuddling, the mad love making sessions—they had all started when her belly had first started to grow.
Instead of immediately digging into the cake like she had so many times before, she set it aside. “Hey, Liara, have you noticed that I’ve been putting on weight?” Shepard asked with a serious tone she hadn’t used for quite some time.
Liara chuckled. “It isn’t exactly something that’s hard to miss, dear.” She said kindly, still maintaining the same kind smile.
Shepard’s cheeks turned red from embarrassment. “Yeah, stupid question.” She said somberly, then poked her pudgy ball of a stomach. “Man, I’ve really let myself go, but I just can’t say no to anything you offer!”
Liara tensed up a bit at that. “Yes, about that…” She began,
