The Slime girl decides to leave you alone for now.

"We should do this again some time." The Slime girl said as she got off of you. She hummed a merry tune as she walked back into the forest with a spring in her step.

You blankly stare at a cloud that passes overhead. This wasn't how things were supposed to be. You were supposed to effortlessly beat any Monster Girl that got in your way. You where going to defeat the Witch Queen in a long and grueling battle that pushed you to your limits. You would then return home victoriously and Molly would fall head over heels in love with you.

All of that was ruined by a single slime girl.

Eventually, you managed to pry yourself off of the ground. There was no way you could return home like this, so you had no choice but to continue on to the port. You trudged along the dirt path. A few Monster Girls spotted you but they all left you alone when they noticed the slime stuck to you.

It was well into the night by the time you reached the port due to your slow pace. The streets were mostly empty except for the occasional couple going for a late night walk. You head to the local tavern. There where a few adventures scattered about the place. Some where telling tales of the great adventures they had been on, while others where simply drowning their sorrows.

"What can I do for you, laddie?" The owner, a short man in his forties, asked as you approached the counter.

1. Ask for a room.

2. Ask for a drink.
