Being a coward is not something a hero is meant to be, so at first you (Erik) did not do anything. After all, it is just a puddle of water, right? You should go inside to save the boy and return the boy back to Emily's care.

The puddle became disturbed with a distant thump-thump that came from the inside of that cave. Wait a minute, what would make a monster girl run in fear? Another larger, powerful one? The puddle again became disturbed with the same sounds. Now it seems that something or someone is slowly approaching the entrance to the cave.

You finally lost courage and ran away as fast as your legs can carry you until you see the scared bunny girl that you met earlier.
"Wait for me."you yelled to her. She refused to stop so you yelled frantically, "What did you see in the cave?"
