On your way in you had noticed an old friend sitting in the far corner by herself sipping from a glass of wine and decided to take some time to catch up. You leave some money on the table for the bartender to pick up and walk over to greet her. She was actually with the Simic at the moment, but in a noncombat role so you didn't have to worry about any disagreements between your two guilds, thankfully.
"Hello Foxglove, mind if I have a glass of wine?" you say as you take a seat opposite from her. She ran a hand through her long white hair and gave you a glare. "And just who the hell are you?" she said sternly as she put aside the tome she had been reading and crossed her arms. "Huh? Oh!" you reply in embarrassment when you realized you still had your hood and mask on.
You let out a chuckle as you pull back your hood and stuff your mask back inside your robes. "Recognize me now?" you ask as her eyes go wide. "It's... it's you! My word! It must have been a year!" she exclaims as she pours a glass of wine and hands it to you. "You look quite a bit different now, even your voice has changed a little."
"The same could be said for you." you say with a laugh as you sip the wine and point towards Foxglove's head. She had always had white hair, but the ram horns and colorfully morphed pupils were definitely new. She suppresses a grin and pulls a length of hair away from her enchanted eyes. "So kind of you to notice, a girl does like to get compliments on her appearance now and then."
You finished off the glass of wine and leaned back in your chair a little. "Want another glass? My team just made a huge breakthrough on the flesh eating mushrooms and got a nice payday from the local guild head so I've got plenty of cash at the moment." Foxglove says as she finishes off her own glass and gestures for another bottle to be brought over.
