The next day, Madison made moves to hang out with him again and they texted throughout the afternoon. She anxiously awaited running into him again at a party. Madison and Cassi talked a bit about going to a party that Rob had told them about. It was off campus again and was at an upper classmen's house. Cassi was okay with this plan, but sensed that Madison had another motive as well.
"Gee, you really want to go out tonight," Cassi said in a leading manner.
"Well...you know I did run into a guy who was kind of cool last night..." Madison said, her face turning somewhat red.
"Oh, details please!"
And with that, Madison filled Cassi in on Rob. Cassi agreed that he sounded like a pretty good catch, and when Madison got a friend request from him on social media in the midst of the conversation, she knew that there was some mutual interest there.
For that evening, Madison again put on a stylish outfit, and went to the party with Cassi, after some pregaming, both of them had drank in high school a bit, and figured that college would continue these social habits, plus it made them more outgoing and less prone to any awkwardness. When Madison got to the party, at an old, large house, about half a mile off campus, she started to casually walk around in search for Rob. Through the house she saw tons of people, most oh which seemed to be having a good time, be it eager freshmen, or classmates happy to see each other again after the large break.
After she ventured upstairs into an open area above some stairs, she found him.
"Hey you!" she yelled over the music.
"Madison!" he said, clearly happy to see her.
For the rest of the evening, they hung out with Cassi and his group of friends, all of which could see that the two were clearly into each other. She was flirting him up hard core and he seemed to think everything that she said was hilarious. So it was no surprise at the end of the evening, when he invited her into his room for a while, and his roommate Chris decided to hang around on campus outside of the dorm a bit longer.
