Kelly swore under her breath as she desperately attempted to contact the police, but something seemed to be jamming her phone signal. In the few years she had been working for the bank, she picked up a few ques as to what type of robbery she was dealing with. Whenever their phones were rendered useless, it was usually the result of some high tech device made to stifle communications with police.
A shudder went through her body as she realized that she was dealing with a super villain of some sort. With no one to call, all she could do was huddle on top of the toilet and pray that Birdboy or Catgirl would come to save them all in time. She took in deep breaths as she heard the chaos unfolding outside the restroom. She could vaguely make out the sounds of someone's voice barking orders to the tellers, though she couldn't quite make out who it was from where she was.
Soon enough, everything went quiet. For a moment Kelly thought that she was in the clear, though she wasn't willing to go out and check. She had no idea whether or not they were still out there, plus she still didn't know which villain was pulling the heist. If she were lucky, it would be someone like The Cougar, who only focused her attention on young men. On the other hand, she could poke her head out the door and find herself bound and gagged at the feet of Footgirl. No amount of submission or compliance would ensure her safety in that situation.
As she weighed her options, a sudden noise caused her to freeze in place. She slowly pressed her ear to the door and held back a gasp as she could hear the sounds of footsteps approaching the restroom. She prayed that whomever it was would just pass her by, and her heart sank as soon as she heard the door creak open. She held her breath, both to keep from making any noises and because of the pungent odor that seemed to follow whomever it was that had just entered.
A lump formed in Kelly's throat as she could see a shadow just underneath her door.
'Please don't find me... please, please don't find me...', she silently plead as nervous tears streamed down her cheeks.
Alas, it was not to be. The door shot open and to her horror, she found herself staring at the barrel of a shotgun. The man before her was decked out in elaborate, face concealing armor. On the chest was an insignia, indicating that he was under the employ of...
