Rebecca awoke at the crack of dawn, as she always did, to the sound of the roosters making their early morning cries. She slid out from her bunk, and shook some of her other "sisters" awake. Rebecca's sleeping cabin was shared by ten girls, ranging from ages 15 to 38. Rebecca herself was 23 years old, and had been a member of Abigail's family for the last four years. She didn't remember much of her life beforehand- Abigail's toejam conditioning made sure of that. No, the only parts of her life she could remember were the ones she spent serving Abigail.
Rebecca made sure the other ladies in the cabin were up, before pulling on her clothes, slipping her clogs on, and heading out to the fields for the morning, to check the chore list for the day. The majority of followers either spent the days working the fields, or cleaning the main house of Raven Falls. Rebecca, however, was one of Abigail's personal servants, and spent most of her day directly servicing her mistress. Today, her instructions told her to report to the cellar of the main house. The cellar was where Abigail housed all of her "new recruits" (I.e. Prisoners who had yet to be converted), and they also were home to Abigail's Punishment Rooms, filled with various torturous mechanisms and nightmarish contraptions, that she used on misbehaving Whipping Girls.
Today, when Rebecca went down to the cellar with Mika and Georgia, two more of Abigail's personal servants, they were surprised to see Abigail already awake, and coming out of one of the rooms. Abigail had a wide, sinister grin on her face as she beckoned the girls closer. "I have wonderful news, ladies..." Abigail said, giggling. Rebecca could only image what was making the Goddess so happy on this day...
