You turn your head as you blink awake and notice a rustling about your neck. Looking down, you see a brightly colored stiff ruff which you can feel the starch of on your adam's apple. Beyond the ruff, you can glimpse polka dots all over your over-sized pants, and you can feel stretchy suspenders over your shoulders holding them up. Just below everything you see is an out of focus hint of red. You come slowly to the realization that the red object is attached to your nose, and move your hand to touch it.
Your hand is huge! At least, the bright white glove covering it is, and the fingers are so puffed up with padding that you can't get a grip on anything. Prodding the bulbous red object proves your fear: You have a clown nose glued to your face. Your prodding agitated your nose, and you inhale a vague scent of pepper. Involuntarily, you sneeze and bring both hands up towards your face. You manage to stop your other hand from connecting just as you see the object within it. A fluffy shaving cream pie rests in your palm, and you nearly clobbered yourself with it.
You can't drop the pie, as it's been glued to the glove on that hand, and you can't get the gloves off either. You'll just have to be careful. With your unladen hand, you push off of your perch on the park bench and onto your feet.. which, of course, are clad in the most ungainly giant clown shoes you could ever hope never to be stuck in.
