An alternate version of my original MLP interactive. |
| This is an alternate telling of my original MLP interactive, High School Adventures. It's an idea that's bee floating in my head for awhile now, and I've decided to take a chance with it. You are the main character, and your backstory is identical to the one you had in the original story. You're a human living in a world where humans and ponies coexist with one another. You're seventeen years old and your parents sent you to Ponyville to spend your high school years, so you've been living there for almost three years now. Celestia watches over you, as a favor to your parents, who she is very close friends with. The main difference between this interactive and the original one (if you haven't already guessed it) is that instead of your love interest being one of the Mane 6, you will have the option to choose between the Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, and Princess Cadance (with the addition of Queen Chrysalis, as per suggestion by a friend of mine). The story will begin in the summertime, with you and your friends receiving and invitation from the princesses to stay at Canterlot Castle for three weeks. Here's a quick summary of your relationships with the princesses and the Mane 6: Let's start with the Mane 6, Twilight is your closest friend out of the bunch, having known her since she lived in Canterlot, you live with her in Ponyville. You have a sort-of frenemy relationship with Rainbow Dash. While she is your friend, you two can get at odds with each other often. Pinkie Pie... well, she's friends with everyone, and she seems nice, just a little strange. Rarity is your second best friend since you both have artistic tastes. Applejack serves a big sister role to you, and you find Fluttershy's shyness to be rather cute. On to the Princesses. Celestia is like a second mother to you. She insists on you calling her "Auntie Celeste," but you refrain from calling her that in front of others. You and Luna don't talk much, but she seems nice. Cadance used to foalsit you and Twilight, so you've known her longer than the other princesses. You even had a crush on her when you were little, but you've long since gotten over that. As for Chrysalis, all you know is that she tried to sabotage Cadance's wedding. The same rules that applied to the original story apply here as well. (Except rule 2, since I doubt it'll be needed for this version), so have fun! NEW RULE! (Added 10/13/13): PLEASE have good spelling and grammar in your additions. EDIT: After some consideration, I've decided to add Twilight as an option now that she's a princess. She will, however, remain a regular unicorn in the original interactive. EDIT 3/29/13: After less than two months, this interactive has already reached 100 chapters! EDIT 6/21/13: Changed the name of the story to Royalty Edition since not all of the love interests are princesses. EDIT 6/29/13: Broke 200 chapters today! EDIT 10/10/13: Broke 300 chapters last night! |
