Carly checked her cell phone's clock and sighed. She needed an interview with a duelist, but the first choice was gone with her backups. Jack, Crow, and Yusei were off somewhere participating in a tournament, and she didn't know Akiza's number. She had hoped for this one duelist she found would show up at the local library so he could be interviewed, but you were running late if not boring her out of her mind. "I can't believe he bailed on me," she said tired of waiting. She was leaving, and as she opened the door she had a head-on collision with the duelist she was waiting for.
You fell on your back and had her falling on top of you with her lips pressed against yours as a result. It was an accident, but you loved how it felt right. Without thinking you "accidentally" slipped your tongue into her mouth, and wrapped it around hers. A jolt of reason went through your mind making you stop French kissing Carly, letting her get off of you. The embarrassed look on her face was making it hard for you not to laugh. "I'm terribly sorry about that, what was your name again?" You said as you got off the floor.
"Carly. Carly Carmine. You're late," she says with her arms crossed. You had a feeling that she knew you were trying to not laugh at her embarrassed look, and it was making her blush slightly more.
"Better late than never right?" You ask shrugging.
"You can make it up to me by letting me interview you and buying me lunch. FYI the Librarian has it out for me, so if we get thrown out don't be surprised."
