There are very few things that a Pokemon Trainer really fear if it was a real life situation. One of the first things you learned from watching anime is that some Pokemon can get angry for reasons uncertain. The biggest fear you ever had was being confronted by a real life Gyrados. A giant rage-aholic monster that could send humans and smaller Pokemon running for the hills in the old days. So much pent up aggression from being a Magikarp that was suddenly unleashed as it evolves.
Your worst fear was about to come true.
You look out into the water and a pair of glaring eyes have spotted you. You shake your head, thinking you were seeing things, but soon the eyes rose out of the water, revealing a giant fanged mouth. If your pants weren't moist from the waves splashing on them, they were now as you see the serpentine body rise from the water, the eyes of the beast locked onto you.
You stare back in absolute fear, your mind racing. You continually tell yourself that Gyrados's weren't real, but your eyes made out ever detail of the beast believable.
The Gyrados roared at you, the force making you flinch. Your feet slowly start moving like your brain tells them to, and you book it towards the land. The Gyrados lets out another roar as it fires a powerful stream of water at you. The blast lands beside you and the force knocks you off your feet.
You fall on the sand.Your body refuses to move, both paralyzed with fear and wrecked from the water blast. You manage to turn and see the beast slithering closer, it's body coming onto the sand. You cringe and close your eyes, preparing for the worst.....
