This choice: The two of you decided to check out the scroll again. • Go Back...Chapter #4The two of you decided to check out the scroll ... by: mess   "Aww... But I want to try it out some more" Julia said with a disappointed look on her borrowed face.
"Come on Julia, don't worry, you will have plenty of time to try it out later. I promise." You said, trying to convince her to cooperate with you.
She turned her eyes thoughtfully upon the roof for several seconds. "I dont know... can't we do it later?"
"Come on Julia... please? Will you just help me out here?"
You used several minutes talking to her calmly and patiently, trying to convince her to just check out the scroll with you and finally she agreed.
"Okey John... But you promise I can try it out later... right?" She looked at you with puppy eyes from Tina's body, just like she use to do with her own face.
"Yes of course" You said, relieved that you managed to convince her. You knew you could always trust Julia. You and Julia was really close and you looked on her as a friend almost as much as your sister. She could be a bit difficult to deal with when she had decided on doing something she really wanted though, but you knew she would never have bad intentions towards you.
"Alright, alright." She said. "Let me just... leave this body somewhere else." And with that you saw her walk out of your room with Tina's body.
Only a minute later she came back into your room in her own body.
"Welcome back" You said, smiling at her.
Julia just gave you a smirk and sat down next to you. "So, what did you have in mind?"
"Well, the scroll is pretty much blank now, except from these small words on the back side." You said and showed her the scroll. "I tried to read them earlier, but nothing happened. I was just wondering if you could try as well, just to make sure."
Julia took a quick look at you with a frown, probably surprised that this was all you wanted her to do.
"Okey sure..." She said and grabbed the scroll from your hands.
She took a closer look at the words and started to pronounce the strange words out loud, failing as badly with the pronunciation as she did earlier.
Just as she finished reading all the words on the scroll her head shook backwards, you saw the golden smoke you had seen before phase out of her body. The smoke floated around a bit before it flew right onto the scroll which lighted up. You bent over the scroll and saw the same words that had disappeared before became visible again.
"Whoa..." You sister said and shook her head. "That felt... weird."
"You okay?" You asked her.
"Yeah... I feel fine, but..." She answered with a slightly confused look on her face. "I.. I can feel the powers are gone, somehow." She continued.
"I guessed that much..." You told her and held the scroll up in front of her face, showing the words that had reappeared on it.
"Oh... So that's how it works." She said, nodding her head. "So I guess anyone that reads them gets the power... and the words on the back side returns them... clever.."
"Looks that way." You agreed.
"So..." Julia started. "You will keep your promise, right? I get to try it out?"
"Yes of course, a promise is a promise" You assured her. "But I'm kind of anxious to try it out myself..." You said hoping she wouldn't rage as you told her you wanted to try it out.
"And you should! You have no idea how awesome it feels! Besides... It's your spell.." She told you.
You were really glad Julia saw it that way, she was really a kind hearted towards you.
Julia looked at you thoughtfully...
