Cole saw that there was a young black-haired boy in the bag. The boy's hands and feet were tied together and his mouth was stuffed with something. The boy blinked at the sudden light. When his eyes got used to the light and he looked at you, in the boy's eyes you could only see resignation.
They had long since captured him. And the child already knew what his fate would be. All that had changed for him was that someone else will eat him.
Cole licked the edge of his mouth. Although he already had a big meal that strained his stomach but he would never give up on free food. He took the boy out of the bag. The child only reached the middle of his calf. Cole began to swallow him. He was easier to send down so Cole had more time to enjoy the taste of the food. Cole enjoyed every moment of the meal. He felt his stomach expand even further as the prey arrived.
Cole walked back to the others with a smile. The successful hunt still filled him with joy and a pleasant tingling. The boy walked freer now. His huge bare feet were still softly touching the ground but the boy was now walking straight and remaining on the plain. He wasn’t hunting anymore so he didn’t bother if someone might notice him. He stopped at a river to drink, and soon after arrived at their temporary accommodation.
The place was under a cliff to protect them from the rain. The ground was covered with blankets woven of huge leaves and grass. He was surprised that he was the first to return because he had gone very far. He hunted for a day and a half and walked back for half a day.
Cole sat down wearily on his blanket and began to caress his stomach lazily. He was impressed that those two boys were still squirming in their stomachs. He would have liked to have fallen asleep but it was dangerous. Because of their size, members of their tribe found it difficult to hide unlike other tribes. Therefore, they were the most vulnerable during sleep. They never slept without someone guarding. Because of this, Cole hasn't slept in 2 days.
