When David made the swap between mother and daughter, he had an idea, and wanted to test something. He wanted to see if he could make one person involved in a swap aware of their swap without telling them about his power, so he focused on making the 12 year old daughter aware of the swaps with her mother, but keep the mother unaware.
Apparently, it worked, as the daughter-turned-mother looked down in shock at her now adult body. “What? How am I an adult?!”
The former mother just looked at her new mother in confusion. “What do you mean, Mom?”
David suppressed a laugh as he watched the new mother try to figure out how she became an adult and her mother became her daughter.
“Hmm…maybe I should get a closer look at the situation.”
