Your reaction was instinctive. Adrenalin pumped into your blood as your feets dig into the ground and you started running. The thing happened so fast that you weren’t able to tell yourself how exactly it happened: At one moment you pulled a woman's hand and at another you both were lying on the ground, trying to catch breath.
“That was close.” you said as you watched the horse get mouthful of grass, grabbing it almost to roots, and then raising his head to camly chew it up. And when the horse swallowed his meal: You imagined what horrible would happen to the poor woman if she was in that bulge which was descending into the stallion’s nethers (or, God forbid, if you both ended up there).
“I was almost eaten by that beast…” The woman finally spoke up after a while. She standed up and after she dusted her off she helped you stand up and then she spoke: “I feel so stupid. I don't know why I stand there like an idiot. You have no idea how thankful I’m for saving me… Miste…?”
“That doesn’t matter.” you cut her off, “The main thing is that you are okay, Madam.”
“You are right. But thank you anyway.” she paused for moment and she she spoke again: “I seen how you commanded the stallion to save everybody. I don’t know if you have experience with horses…”
“To be clear: I don’t have any experiences with horses. I’m surprised that he even listened to me.”
“Oh. Well… I’m not a horse profesional, but I have connections on the ranch so maybe I could help you?”
“If you are right, then your help will be welcomed.” you replied.
“Great! I will do my best.” she replied back, “You probably noticed in what condition this boy is in?”
“Yeah… Somebody really neglected this big guy.”
“Could we help him?”
“I was thinking about the same thing. So I think we can try that.” and as you said it...
