"Yes, Alice." you mutter, open your bag and start putting your stuff inside the closet. You vaguely notice that all of this feels different from anything you have ever done before. It's strange, like being remote-controlled, and yet oddly enough it does not feel problematic in any way. As you're done you turn around to Alice, who is sitting on her bed with her right leg crossed over, dangling from left to right to left to right...
You find yourself unable to avert your gaze away from the movement, and following it seems to take up all of your attention and resources. What was it you wanted to do? Oddly enough you forgot... Luckily Alice is kind enough to help you back on track. "Now, you must be very tired by carrying all your things around. that was hard work, wasn't it Pat?" she asks with a slight giggle. "Uh.. Yeah, I gues..." you answer. "Then it might be a good idea to lay down on the floor and rest a little."
That makes perfect sense to you, so you get down on the floor in front of her and roll on your back. You try to relax, but the the floor is hard and actually quite uncomfortable. Just as you think about asking Alice whether it might be a better idea to lay down on the bed her right foot enters your field of vision, dangling above you from left to right to left... You realize a disturbing smell and vaguely get the impression that it might be the smell of your cousins foot.
"Wait, is this right?" you catch yourself thinking. "Feet are lower parts of the body, heads are upper parts. Above shoulders and above necks. Feet are lower than legs... Consequently feet are not supposed to be above the heads of other people..." you conclude with great effort, and you faintly realize that you are not in control of the situation, while Alice's foot keeps dangling from left to right to left and slowly seems to lower itself down on you...
You start flickering your eyes as you do your best not to follow the movement of her stockinged foot, regain control over yourself and get an accurate picture of the situation you're in. You fight as good as you can, but all of this is just so confusing...
