“Good news, everyone!” came the eccentric voice of Professor Farnsworth, as he began the meeting with his crew. The disdained, and bored looks on his employees’ faces spoke to their doubts of this being anything they were looking forward to hear. “I want you all to meet me in my laboratory to see something spectacular.”
“Oh lord, what now?” Leela grumbled, crossing her arms beneath her chest.
As a group, they rose from the circular table, and followed, at first, before passing the doddering professor on their way to his lab.
“What do you think he wants to show us?” Fry asked his best, and most metallic friend.
“Probably something that’ll either kill you all the second he turns it on, or something that sucks.”
Soon, they were all gathered in the lab, which had half-finished machines, and pointless do-dads littered throughout the room.
“I have just finished my latest invention, which will make each of you completely unnecessary to run this damned company. Behold! My molecular transport array!”
Directing their attention towards the large device the old scientist showcased, they saw a large, metal ring, with a control panel to one side, and a ramp leading into what would be a spiraling tunnel if it was activated.
“But Professor, what is a Molcuwho-whatsit transamabob?” Fry asked, with the look of a confused monkey on his face.
“An excellent, yet stupidly worded question, Fry. It allows instantaneous travel between this portal and any coordinates entered into the computer. Now I won’t have to pay off any grieving family members when one of you stupid mooks kicks the bucket. I’ll just send the package wherever it needs to go from the comfort of my own lab.”
While the Professor was talking, Fry and his robot buddy moved towards the control panel, where the delivery boy began, at Bender’s goading, to input random numbers into the computer.
“Come on Fry, get that portal open!” Bender cheered “The New New York Bank isn’t going to rob itself.”
Looking on with loud gasps of horror, as Fry’s meddling caused the machine to spark and sputter as it powered on, opening the portal with the sound of static.
“Fry, you idiot! Get away from there! If you enter random coordinates, you don’t know where the portal will open of what will come through the other side!” the Professor warned, but it was too late.

It happened so suddenly, Naruto had no chance to react. As he was walking down the street towards his apartment, a large hole opened beneath his feet and sent him plummeting to parts unknown to anyone in his world.
‘I swear, if I ever find out who did this, I’m going to kick their testicles into their throat,’ Naruto thought grimly before proceeding to let out a loud curse as he fell down the seemingly infinite expanse of the tunnel.

As Professor Farnsworth worked frantically at the controls, the rest of the Planet Express crew could only watch as the portal reached maturity.
“It’s too late now, the portal has opened at its destination, and it has pulled in something.”
“Can you tell what it is, Professor?” Amy asked from behind him.
“Judging by these read outs, Fry has accessed an alternate universe. So for all we know, he could have pulled in a giant ape monster that breaths fire, and has knives for fingers.”
With a small *poit* an unconscious Naruto flew out of the machine and landed on Leela’s left breast, causing everyone to look at him, while silencing all those assembled.
“Or a tiny man. Whatever,” the Professor finished. “Amy, Leela, you look after him until he wakes up. The rest of you, follow me to the electronics store so I can replace the parts that were destroyed by Fry’s idiocy.”
And so, Amy and Leela were left alone with the tiny ninja, neither very happy about having to babysit him.
“Why do we both have to watch him? I mean, spleesh, I have more important stuff to do today,” Amy complained.
“I can see your point,” Leela said, holding the tiny man in the palm of her hand, “it’s not like it takes more than one person to look after this little guy, and I don’t really want to do it either.”
There was a momentary pause in their conversation, before Amy spoke again.
“Rock, paper, scissors for it?” the Martian girl asked.
