Marty looked through a pair of binoculars at the castle in the distance. It had an foreboding reddish glow around it, an ocean of stormy clouds circling its towers.
"Well," he said, "that castle certainly belongs to an evil overlord, that much I can tell."
He turned to John and asked, "What should we do? The place looks well defended."
John stood their for a while, thinking as he gazed at the castle. "We have to sneak our way in," he finally said.
"But how?" asked Cassy.
"Through the sewers, dummy," said Tabitha, holding a scroll, "They were nice enough to provide it for us. We just follow this rout and bam! We are in the bowels of the castle!"
"Then let's not waste time," said John
John took the lead as they traversed into the manhole that lead into the castle's sewers. Although, John, embarrassingly for him, got stuck due to his hefty middle.
After successfully pushing their fearless leader through, they continued onwards to their destination. John grumbled as he walk ahead of his group, hearing how they quietly snickered about his predicament not while ago.
The map brought them to a stone ladder, which according to it should lead them into one of the castle's wine cellars.
They climbed to the top, opening a hatch. They indeed found themselves in the wine cellar, a very large one. John looked around himself, squinting in the dark as his companions gathered around him.
"Let's split up," he said, "Marty, you go with the girls. I'll look around."
"Gee, are you sure that's a good idea?" asked Marty. "I mean, going off alone...."
"Just trust me, okay," John snapped, stomping off without another word.
Little did he know that he was being watched by a pair of glowing red eyes. It had succeeded. Just a little mind manipulation and he had this dragon all on his own. What a fine specimen he would make to his collection!
With his snap of fingers, a small plushy doll that was in a shape of a dragon with a green hide and yellow underbelly appeared. This is obviously made in John's image. The overlord smirked sinisterly, and with a few gestures and low chanting, the doll began to glow.....
