Grappling back up to the roof to make sure she's gone, Jake could only see the city around him, Footgirl was gone. Just to make sure, Birdboy attempted to follow the sweaty imprints she had made during your conversation, but once they approached the edge of the roof they stopped without leading to another rooftop. "Peculiar" Jake thinks. He squatted to inspect the last sweaty footprint, but all he got was a nice breath of stink. Seeing stars, he stumbles back and falls onto his bottom. "Even more peculiar!" Alarms are ringing in Jake's head. He had fought and defeated her many times, at her lowest point and at her peak, when the whole city was on its knees before her feet. And never had the scent smelled so strong than it did now. This was just a footprint and not even a fresh one, Jake shudders at the prospects of how bad her bare feet could be. She had obviously been lying about wanting to be a hero, so why did she want to be close to Birdboy without attacking? Why had she been inactive for a few weeks? A plot was brewing, something big. Jake took a few more whiffs of the footprints, and then wondered why he would did that. But that wasn't important, so he shook off those questions and went back onto the patrol.
Footgirl couldn't be traced, until she showed up...
