Jake stood, being punched through a wall was nothing compared to the pains he has had to endure these past years. Havoc slowly approached him, maybe some villains can be reasoned with, some can be bribed or convinced to stop. Not Havoc she was a cruel sadistic human who was only happy when people around her suffered. Now she was a wrathfull demon diplomacy had no place here. Jake throw several birdarangs at Havoc who easily walked on ignoring them as they bounced of her. He grabbed his birdclaw and fired it at her mask, he held his breath and launched himself at her Havoc grunted in pain as he kicked her face. Jake held on to her horns for balance as he tried to rip the mask off but it was no good, the mask was indeed part of her face.
Havoc only more angry than before punched him to the ground below hard enough for him to make a crack beneath him. Jake was grateful none of his bones seemed to be broken. Winded Jake took a second to recover, Havoc leaped onto him brining one large boot down onto his face.
“Squish you little worm!” Her boot reeked of sweat, grime and something new, death? The tiny sweat drops coming from her boots burned into his mask and skin. He could barely breath under her foot. She brought her boot of his face only to slam it down hard into him again. Jake was trying not to breath in as the stink of her boots invaded his fresh air. “Poor bird shit don’t fall asleep yet, maybe this will keep you awake.” Havoc easily picked him up in one hand and shoved his face into her armpit. Beth’s rotted flesh no longer seemed so bad to Jake as he was breathing in the body odour of this demon. Focus Jake told himself he grabbed a tiny round sticky explosive from his pouch and lightly placed it on Havoc’s back. She was to busy laughing at his current state to notice, Jake kicked both his feet at once to the ground and managed to launch himself free.
He was on the ground quickly breathing some fresh air, not willing to spend long recovering he sprinted a good few meters away at the smug villain who slowly approached him. The explosive on her back was used to quickly open steel doors, it would be more than enough to kill her. It wasn’t easy making this kind of sacrifice but when the world was back he knew Havoc would be alive again.
“Sorry” He whispered as he detonated it. The explosion went of loudly letting of a ring in his ears. Jake sighed as he looked at Havoc’s body on the ground. Getting back up.
“What the hell?!”
Havoc looked up at him, she looked furious. He body began to glow red hot.
“I am going to pound and pound until your nothing but mush!”
Jake didn’t wait to form a new plan he ran as fast as he could through the buildings. Jake leaped through windows trying to lose Havoc only to hear her tear the walls apart trying to get to him.
What could he do? He can’t keep running forever, she was too strong to fight, maybe it was to do with the deadly sin? What was the opposite to wrath? Forgiveness? Maybe he could try forgiving her?
Another building came crashing down behind him. “I’ll tear you limb from limb bird shit!”
Forgiveness was probably not going to work. He had to trap her.
