Dad started pacing, wondering aloud what to do. He knew that knowledge of magic and witchcraft was far beyond him. Sure, he heard the rumors, that magic was not native to this world, but he didn't quite believe that. After all, how many of them had a witch for a wife... Pausing, he shook his head. "Focus on the present, Nathan" he muttered as he slowly saw there were three alternatives. Doing nothing, and risking your powers going out of control was out of the question. So was sending you away. That left option three; bring someone to you. With slight hesitation, dad grabbed a phone, and started to dial.
"Who is this?" a grumpy voice said
"You know who I am, and why I'm calling" dad said.
"Really?" the voice said quizzingly.
"Enough with the mind games. Do you accept the job?"'
"Its for Jessica, right? Yes... I could throw in tutoring for three other students... maybe a fourth...."
Dad slammed down the phone. "Damn witches.."
