The world is a big place

Deciding that you can really only trust your family in your current state you start running towards the main entrance. If you make it to your house all you have to do is wait for your father or one of your two older brothers to get back and help you. But that requires you making it to your house first.

Miraculously you make it out the front doors and on to the sidewalk. You decide to stay relatively close to the grass to avoid being seen by any passing giants.

Eventually...

You have the following choices:

1. You make it to your front yard

2. A giant passes by

3. You become distracted
