No, no, no. This just wouldn't do. Marco's death had come about too quickly. His pitiful existence had been snuffed out in a manner of seconds. There was barely any pain or suffering to be had. Marco needed, rather, he DESERVED a fate more painful then the one he had been subjected to. Thankfully, as the powerful monster that you were, you were easily able to rectify the situation.
Drawing from the deepest levels of your infernal power, you unleash a potent spell of time reversal. You observe as the world begins to reverse its course. The wind does a complete turn-about, shifting its direction immediately. Freshly fallen leaves begin to float upwards and reattach themselves gently to their old spots on the branches. And most importantly, a familiar looking jogger flies past, her arms and legs moving in an awkward backwards-jog.
The events of Marco's death quickly pass by, leaving the young man alive again. You let the jogger continue down the path a bit longer before setting time on its normal course. Like before, Marco stares at the giant woman in a daze. He is too stupefied to move and would have died a second time, if not for you timely intervention.
A mysterious, invisible force strikes out, slamming against the jogger's ankles. The under-cut strike sends her toppling forward, collapsing on the group. She slams into the concrete path more painfully then before, her face connecting to the ground merely inches away from Marco.
Finally, a satisfactory situation. You hope that the jogger will finally notice him, and as it turns out...
