Mom found the device and picked it up. It had changed into a toy remote as some form of natural disguise so mom did not think it out of place. "A new toy Jack gave you dear?" Curious, she asked you.
You nodded, smiling, and reached out for the device. Mom smiled but placed it onto a shelf way beyond your reach. Your hopes crashed as mom then easily lifted you out of the crib. To her, you were and had always been Allie. She placed you down onto a changing table where she began to secure a number of straps, keeping you in place. You opened your mouth to protest but mom shoved a pacifier into your mouth and tied it in place.
"I know you hate being treated like a baby, dear." Gently, she told you. "Still, this is the best solution. Your body is very weak and nothing we try is making it any stronger. Also, your stomach can't digest anything other than very soft foods like baby formula or applesauce."
"That's right." Worried, you thought. "Allie has what the doctors call 'the baby disease'. It leaves the body as fragile as a newborn baby. What was I thinking when I switched roles with her!?"
You began to cry through the pacifier, causing mom to give you a pained look. "We will skip the physical therapy for today and focus on having a little fun, okay?"
"I'd like to get that device back." Sighing, you thought.
Mom smiled patiently then began to change your diaper. Having the mind of an eighteen year old boy, it was the most humiliating experience. Worse, you could not alert mom of who you really were with that pacifier gagging you.
