Jackie the Hungry

    by: ItsMe Author IconMail Icon
Your stomach growled loudly, causing you to curl up.
It's been a day, maybe two since you had an actual meal. You ate here and there, but you didn't have a full stomach in a while. You cringe again and fall off your couch. I can't take this anymore you think to yourself. A scurry caught your eye, Micen Your mouth started to salivate, imagining snatching one up in hopes to fill your empty belly. You get up and crawl towards the end of your couch. The micen was at a wall, trying to figure out how to open a flap at the base of the wall, and drag a small bag of scraps of food wrapped in plastic. You crawl on your wooden floor and pounced behind him.
He turned around, gasping. He tried to abandon the bag but you snagged his tail and pulled him out from under the flap. He was a tan mouse with black hair. He seemed half starved, like there was more meat in the bag than on him."Where do you think you're going?" You asked. "Please Jackie, don't eat me! Take my food, just let me go." You inspect the bag. It was some meat, maybe from left over chicken the neighbors had. It was only a handful. You looked back at the mousy. "Where did you get this?" The mouse was too scared to speak, he stuttered too much to be understandable. Your growling stomach reminded you of your fresh caught prey. You pluck your prey up and rolled on your back.
"Wait, wait, wait!" He cried. "Give me a chance. Let me go and I'll bring you two micen." "What makes you think I'm stupid enough to just let you go?" You reply. He pointed towards the bag. "My family needs that food. Keep it, if I'm not back with a micen, then you still get to eat. I'f I bring back two then I get to have the food back. Deal? Please say yes."
You tilt your head and ponder.

You have the following choices:

1. Deal

*Noteb*
2. No deal *Gulp*

3. Only if you make the deal sweeter

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
