Transformation in a dark world of vice, violence, and villainry.

Chapter #5

a few months later

by: Wandering Mind Author IconMail Icon
Mary Ford looked at her reflection in her vanity’s mirror as she clasped a sting of pearls around her neck. In the months since she and her family had gone into witness protection and being drastically transformed she’d learned quite a bit about makeup and how to dress her new body.

The TFPD had done a terrifyingly good job of transforming her from Max Miller, a teenage boy, into Mary Ford, a 37 year old single mother of two teenage girls. At first it had been incredibly jarring to see an adult woman staring back at her in the mirror. There was nothing in her reflection that tied her back to the boy she had been.

When they arrived at their new home, in their new town, it became apparent that the TFPD wasn’t going to take any chances. Nothing in the house connected them to their old house. The clothes Mary had found in her closet were decidedly feminine. Gone were her rock band t-shirts, comfortable jeans, loose clothes or anything that wasn’t designed to show off her MILF figure.

The girls, her former mom and dad, had very much the same experience. There was nothing in the house that spoke of who they used to be. Anna, her former mom, had taken things in stride. She was happy to be young again and still the same gender. She and her husband-turned-sister had been young parents and she had regretted losing out on certain things in order to start a family so early. She saw this as a second chance.

In the beginning Anna had helped Mary figure out makeup, how to dress, how to handle her time of the month. They had bonded quite a bit. As far as the world would know, it was now Mary who had been the young mother, having apparently had Anne at 18. The story the TFPD had crafted was that Mary had become pregnant in high school, she had apparently been quite the heartbreaker in her day, and she dropped out soon after. Three years later she became pregnant with Dakota. The supposed father in their cover story had apparently left Mary to raise her daughters on her own. At some point in this made up life Mary had gotten her GED and had worked a series of jobs over the years.

All of this was a fantasy, but it was the fantasy they were supposed to tell if they were asked. The TFPD had gotten Mary a job with a local company as an executive assistant, all built on a fake work history for a person who hadn’t existed a few months before. What was strange was how the cover story had slowly become more and more real to her. Heck, the TFPD had given her stretch marks to make it quite apparent that she’d supposedly given birth before. It was easier to believe the lie than to believe the truth of who she used to be.

Dakota had had the roughest time in accepting who she had become. She had become the quintessential blonde beauty you see on TV, at least physically. The three of them had been given curvy bodies that were undeniably female. For Dakota the change had been radical. To go from a towering, masculine father, to a 16 year old girl with looks that were straight out of a teenage boy’s dreams … well, it had been too much for her mind to take. She had a nervous breakdown only a few days after they arrived at their new house. Mary had called their handlers in the TFPD and they had sent some specialists to help, but in the end they said that sort of thing sometimes happened with people who entered the program. All they could do was monitor Dakota and let her sort things out for herself.

By the time she started to come back she had embraced a new persona that was completely separate from who she had been. She wouldn’t even acknowledge that they had been different people anymore. Her personality became just what she appeared to be, a typical blonde, air-head. Mary and Anna had tried to help her remember in the beginning, but ultimately decided it was perhaps better if Dakota just embraced her new life and forgot the horrors she had seen leading up to their transformations.

Mary smoothed out her outfit as she got up, stepping confidently on her high-heels as though she’d been walking in them for years. Sometimes she missed who she had been, and she always marveled at the immense changes they had all undergone, but she had to get the day started and a mother couldn’t waste too much time lost in thought.
