She finds her own head, but assumes it belongs ...

She looks carefully at the head. This didn't look like your head to her, this definitely seemed to be a woman's head. But she hasn't seen anyone else without a head, so it must belong to you.
Your headless teacher walks back over to you carrying what looked like you remember to be her head. She hands it to you. She doesn't seem to realize what it is. Wanting to keep the joke up, you ask "What's this?" on your phone.
She pulls out her phone and types, "Your head, is it not?"
"My head?" you ask confused.
"Yes, you are missing it"
You pause for a moment before running to the mirror. You look at your blank, headless neck. You sure were headless. But where did your head go? Knowing full well what you did to Miss Dodd you wonder if she beheaded you in revenge. But then why would she think that her head was yours?
