Class goes by weirdly normally. Miss Dodds made it obvious that she had no idea she was headless but the class was very hesitant to point it out and just played along.
At the end of the day you returned to her classroom to find your head still sitting on her desk and her still without her head or any idea of it.
You wave to her. She waves back and walks over to you.
"So, do I get my head back now?" you ask.
"Yes and no. I find this prank quite serious, so I contacted your mother to come out to pick up your head" she proclaimed.
Aw, crap. She doesn't even know about the sword you thought. What was she going to think? At least no one seemed any the wiser that you had technically stolen Miss Dodds' head. You started trying to figure out how to explain this. You come up with a story that it was actually Miss Dodds who beheaded you. But maybe you could just tell the truth, about your head at least.
For now you simply nod your neck and go sit at a desk waiting.
You wait.
and wait.
And after a little more waiting your mom came through the door. She looked straight at your teacher, then to you, then back at your teacher.
