This choice: ...Walsh family (As in Brandon, captain of the high school football team). • Go Back...Chapter #5...Walsh family (As in Brandon, captain of the ... by: Wassel “…Walsh family,” he said. A name which you recognized immediately. If it was indeed who you were thinking it was.
Which indeed turned out to be the case. Kerry explaining that Peter, Terri, Riley and Brandon Walsh had been inside the other car that the truck had hit. Not really being all that familiar with Peter nor Riley (though you assumed one was the father and the other either a sister or a brother), but Brandon was in the year above you at school. Tall, muscular, athletic. Captain of the football team and one of the biggest assholes you'd ever come into contact with. Yet, despite this, he was also extremely popular. Having loads of friends and girls chasing after him after all the time. Not to mention that he was currently dating Brandi Summers, who was like his female equivalent. Being an absolute smoke show, and a girl you’d give your right testicle to see naked. Not that you in anyway stood a chance. His mother, Terri meanwhile was president of the school Booster club. Who, despite being a MILF, with a slim, well maintained figure and (possibly) enhanced boobs, was also a complete bitch. Stuck up, condescending and bossy. The type who thought they were so much better than everyone else. Which you assumed had to do with how well off the Walsh's were. Brandon driving around in a flashy red convertible, while his mother was always dressed in the latest fashions. Neither of whom were exactly modest about showing these things off. Hence why they weren't exactly your favorite people. Being frequently bullied and made fun of by one, and looked down upon by the other whenever your paths did cross.
This being the reason that you were a little unsure of how exactly to feel about this news. A part of you even thinking that they kind of deserved it. Brandon at least. Seeing how nothing bad ever seemed to happen to him. With his good looks, his athletic prowess and his money, having had life served up to him on a silver platter.
Not that anything too bad had happened to him though. As the doctor had stated, both he and the rest of his family were perfectly fine. Much the same as yours. It seemingly being too much to ask for a little karma to come his way. Mores the pity.
Kerry then, on seeing your reaction to this news, asking, "So you do know them?"
Responding, “Kinda, yeah. Brandon goes to the same school, and I’ve seen his mom at events and stuff.”
To which he gave an odd, surprised and almost worried sounding reply. "...Oh. Oh, really?"
“Yeah,” you nodded. Curious as to what that reaction was about. It seeming a little strange.
A reaction that continued as he again looked slightly nervous. Chuckling, "Well isn't that something. Who'd... Who'd have thought it?" Turning towards Saunders, who still said nothing, but looked a little suspicious himself. Before Kerry hastily changed the subject. Assuring you, "Well they’re... They’re perfectly fine, as I said. All four of them. Just a few scrapes, bumps and bruises. Nothing to worry about at all."
“Okay then. That’s good to hear. So, uhm… Can I like see my family now or what?” you asked. Feeling like this was a lot more pertinent right now than hearing about someone else's. Someone who you honestly couldn’t give two shits about.
His response to which was, “Of course. They’re all anxious to see you.”
And you them. Feeling a huge sense of relief that they were all okay and had made it out of the crash unharmed. Way more than you were Brandon and his family. Figuring that they could worry about themselves.
