Keeping the sevens, you send three cards back to the dealer, and receive a 9 of Clubs, Queen of Hearts, and King of Spades in return. Not any better than before, but you've still got your pair. As the girls lay down their cards, you note that you ended up safely in the middle; you were beaten by Zoey's and Elizabeth's pair of Jacks and 10s, respectively, but you didn't do nearly as bad as Lilith, whose King high was just beaten by Lara's Ace.
With a shrug, Lilith stands up, bending over for a moment to unfasten her chaps. As she leans forward, you get a good view down her halter top. While you didn't think you were staring, a cough and a knowing smirk from Zoey turns you bright red. Thankfully, no one else seemed no notice, as Lilith simply places the garment down on the table.
"You know, win or lose, I'm just happy to hear the word 'strip' in this context." Lillith says. At the confused glances of her fellow players, she added, "It's just that on Pandora, when you hear the word 'strip', it's usually followed by 'the flesh'." Elizabeth nods in understanding, before pausing.
"Well, I suppose in a way the same can be said here. We'll certainly be seeing plenty of flesh later in the evening."
"Yeah," Lilith laughs, "I guess so. Hopefully we won't get to the 'salt the wound' part."
"Wait 'til we get to the forfeits..." Zoey mutters, and you and the girls can't help but laugh, albeit a bit nervously.
While that conversation was going, the dealer had passed out the cards. With a smile, you glance down at what you received.
