Rick Stoneball, adventure archaeologists had been called into investigate a new chamber that had been discovered when they were digging the foundations for a new hospital. He pushed aside a huge stone slab which was covered in the image a a huge spider wearing all sorts of jewelry.
"A God" he thought, "or a Demon"
He descended stone steps into the darkness. The stairs curved around several times and soon all light from the surface was lost. Turning on a super duper long life torch he illuminated the passage which was leveling off. He saw huge stalactites descending from the ceiling. The place must was been abandoned for thousands of years.
Most of the walls were covered in a bizarre writing that seem to made of a simplified spider making various poses. They were completely unlike anything that anyone had ever seen before so he had no chance of reading them. There was also a series of images which he could understand.
There was a spider showing some people a bow and arrow. There are then hunting scenes and the hunters returning which huge quantities of game. They give over half of it to the spider which has tripled in size, to about 12 feet tall.
The next scene shows the spider showing them a needle and thread and using to sow together the hides of the animals. They the people are all shown is far better looking hides they have made a cape for the spider who must be around 50 feet tall by now.
The spider shows them how to make boats and nets. The next seen shows the spider driving huge shoals of fish into these nets. The boats are filled to overflowing with fish. Which as again mostly offered to the spider who has grown to 200 feet tall.
Next the spider shows they how to farm and to make the grain they harvest into bread and beer. A feast is where the spiders portion although larger then everyone else put together is tiny compared to its 500 feet tall size.
The spider shows them how to make bricks and the huge place they construct is dwarfed by 2000ft of spider.
The spiders gives them sheep, cows and pigs which they begin to farm. There are several scenes of them driving them towards spider in what looks like a sacrifice much is they followed by scenes of it petting them and then being returned several times bigger and producing much more wool and and milk. A distinct local mountain shown next the foot of the spider (which is bigger then it) shows the spider was now reached 12 miles in height.
Next spider teaches them metalwork. They forge the spider a golden crown which the spider grows to fit its now 100 miles of height.
The next seen shows some ever so slightly racist images of foreign people coveting the wealth the spider kingdom. They gather a huge army. The spider picks them up along with several dozen miles of countryside. The spider gives them a literal mountain of of treasure and the army all drop their weapons and worship the spider. The spider now covers up nearby all of south America, the accuracy of the drawing of it is startling.
The next few scenes show the spider traveling the world gifting all the things from before onto new people, being worshiped by the them and swelling yet larger. By the end of these theses the (accurately drawn) earth itself it only as large as one of its smaller eyes.
The next scene shows loads of smaller giant spiders appearing and carrying everyone and everything onto the giant spider. Then the giga spider moves though space. Then the spider is shown with a sun orbiting around it. The people living on the spider seem to be having a good time.
The next sense shows thousands of normals sized but clearly divine spiders being shot from a cannon. We see on arrive on earth and some down the steps he just came down. The spider then turns its self to stone, there are several scene that indicate a lot of time passing.
The next scene shows him, in and can its him as it looks exactly like him right down to brand name on this torch. It is even labeled with his name, in English.
"And that brings you up to date," said a voice "any questions"
Rick turned around and saw watch was clearly smaller version of the spider from the images, it was barely an inch across.
