Daniel liked Hilbert the best out of all the male protagonists due to his design, and went with summoning him partly due to that.

Once the circle was drawn and the ritual was finished to Danie's surprise the book the pokeboy was summoned in his room.

But was all well? Does Hilbert have a mind of his own, or does he not have one due to just being an avatar for the player where you can put your own thoughts in him?
