Ron was sick of never being taken seriously.
Over the course of his many adventures with Kim, Ron had seen many things. He’d gone to exotic locales, braved dangers he’d never (willingly) face, and helped stop dangerous villains.
Even if it was in his own, clumsy, way.
Yes, he had learned that there was no shame in getting help from others, and he had many lessons about using shortcuts to physical prowess or people’s admiration.
Kim had made it clear that despite the occasional joke, she respected him and felt that he was special in his own way.
He loved Rufus, his family, and above all else Kim (though he could still never properly say so face to face), it was hard not to feel somewhat resentful of who he was.
Why couldn’t he be special in a satisfying way?
Pretty much all the women he met in his life were beautiful, capable, bold, even dangerous.
Meanwhile he was stuck running around with baggy pants and a pet that looked like it had something wrong with it.
After a particularly embarrassing set of missions, Ron decided that he needed a break.
A break from himself.
He needed to have some fun.
Pushing past brush, Ron made his way to a less ventured part of town. Hidden amidst the overgrown hedges and trees was an old, abandoned looking shed. However the more keen eyed would be able to tell that it had been renovated.
A new lock, a fixed roof, and he even replaced all the glass with one-way windows.
He had, unfortunately, immediately cracked some of it, but that simply ensured it seemed abandoned.
Locked inside the cabin were all the devices, gizmos, and odds & ends he had collected over the course of his adventures with Kim.
It had started as glorified trophy collecting. A handful of nuts and bolts from a doomsday machine here, a henchmen mask here, a cool looking rock from an ancient temple there.
But slowly he had started picking up actual pieces of technology.
They all had to fit inside his pocket or backpack, but Ron had been thoroughly surprised by how so much villain tech could compress down into an easily stored form. At first he had no idea what any of it did, but he had experimented and soon had quite a stash on his hands.
Ron of course had kept it all a secret from Kim. He didn’t like the idea of her being upset with him about it, or potentially ruining his fun. Thankfully it was kind of hard to notice him stuffing something into his bag or pockets when she was doing flying kicks at goons.
Yet, out of all things he had found there was one thing that had stood out.
It was something that would allow him to take on the identity of someone else, almost perfectly.
And he knew exactly who he wanted to be.
Shego.
Dark hair, green eyes, green skin, and a killer figure. Her hips, her breasts, the way she talked and even the way she looked at people. The villainess was beautiful, powerful…everything Ron secretly wanted to be.
Of course, he could never, ever admit that to Kim.
Her rivalry with Shego was intense enough that he doubted he’d just get a nasty look from Kim for saying that he wanted to be like the person she fought on a near weekly basis.
But it didn’t matter what Kim wanted, or what Kim thought of him.
Once he used the device, she wouldn’t be able to tell him apart from Shego. No one would.
As he shakily opened the door to the cabin, Ron immediately looked for…
