You do a double take and say "You?! Are you sure? What if something goes wrong? You're the only person who would know how to fix it!" She just smiles at you and says "Listen, you're my best pupil. Something tells me if there's a problem with the experiment, you'll know how to handle it. Besides, it's not like i trust anybody else with this experiment." Her smile was so warm and friendly, you just couldn't say no to it! Besides, you'd always had a bit of a crush on the professor, this is just another way to see her in a whole different light! You ask the professor if she's sure and she says "I've never been more positive about anything in my whole career. I need to see that this works, and if i'm not willing to test it on myself, than i've failed as a scientist." You just look at the device and then back at the professor, humbled by the power she's giving you. You say "Okay then... where do you want to do this?"
