Chapter #3

Something else

Flying high and into the sky was quite exhilarating. You didn't realize just how enjoyable it was with the wind against your face as you looked down below you, watching the world turn. It was like looking at little ants, scurrying about their way. . although as soon as you landed. . you’d be the small one. There was just. . so many different kind of options. Looking down, you see city hall. That would be an interesting choice.

You imagined seeing all the giants and giantess’ going around and trying to deal with political issues, as you listened from down below. There was one politician in particular that you liked too. You couldn't remember her name, but she was so young and beautiful. It would be quite the adventure living around her!!

Looking more, you spotted a nearby library. That would be. . really really hard for you to survive. With no way of obtaining food, you’d need to eat bugs, or even just skin from the patrons. Maybe some librarians would have some snacks. You remember seeing one of them bring a cake through there once, so maybe there was a stash in the back. It was so risky, yet. . it could work too.

Another area was a cool looking neighborhood. It wasn't exactly the most. . urban place. . but hey. It could be interesting living around a little neighborhood. Working your way throughout the system. The big question would be if you stayed outside or inside. You scratched your chin as you thought about it. There was a forest around too. . but forget about it. That place looks crazy.

These places, while interesting, were not really very ‘urban’ at all. They didn't really fall in line with the objective that you had set for yourself. They probably would lead to some pretty exciting adventures, but you wanted some true ‘urban’ living. It would be the ultimate test of evolution, surviving in a totally different kind of environment. Braving the elements that man had made for themselves. . a true testament to the urban experience.

There were two places that you thought would fit that mission well. First, was the downtown area. People, animals, and bugs were everywhere, so there was plenty of obstacles. There was also a ton of food and water. Leaky water manes, restaurants, people walking around with food, and even those food trucks would lead to a million possibilities on where you could establish yourself. The evenings would be particularly interesting. With all those parties happening all the time, you'd have some nice music to listen to. . as well as some pretty crazy people walking around drunk all the time. It would work nicely and be a challenge.

As you watched people scurry about more, you noticed a pretty Hispanic woman walking down a set of stairs into a train stop. Of course!! How much more urban could you get there!! That one might work out better too, because at a train stop, you’d have an absolute ton of people passing by daily, but they’d also be bringing food with them. You knew that the train stations had water faucets. . most of the time leaky due to the laziness of the city. Better still, they kept it kind of clean there, so you wouldn't have to deal with animals or that many bugs.

Thinking it over. . you decided to go towards. . .

You have the following choices:

1. The downtown area.

2. The train stop

3. Somewhere else. . .
