You decide to shrink yourself super tiny and survive, nobody aware of your existence.
This choice: The downtown area.  •  Go Back...
Chapter #4

Up above Downtown

    by: Unknown
Surveying the downtown area from your birds eye view listed a good amount of locations that would serve a miniature adventurer like you well. The streets were lined with establishemts ranging from restaurants to food markets and much in between. Of course since your goal was to live off the resources of your surroundings, a building that contained a plethora of food would be ideal.

One thing to take note of, was that this was a very busy town and the foot traffic on any given day would be insanity to one such as yourself. As long as you kept to your senses and stayed careful you should be fine, but its just something to remember. Last thing you wanted was to be a glob of mush under someones shoe.

You pilot the drone closer to the ground, (still hovering a small distance above the roofs of the buildings), and prepare to make your final destination decision.

To your left, was as most of the customers of this place would call it, a 'charming little food establishment' called Ciboulette. You had eaten here once. It served as a coffee/pub house, open all hours of the day and served mostly vegan options. Normally, this would turn you away, evident by you only eating here the one time. However, it may not be a bad idea to eat a little healthier if you plan on living the rough life for awhile. It had a patio in front of it that jutted out into the sidewalk, and there appeared to be a group of young women sitting together at a table.

To the right of the street, right across Ciboulette, was a fairly sized food market. Now THIS place was obviously stacked with food! Nourishment wouldnt even factor as difficult to find here at all. The shelves would provide brilliant means of staying out of sight, exploring the market, avoiding stomping feet and grabbing a bite whenever you felt like it. Although getting past the packaging all the time would be a pain, and if the store got enough complaints of customers buying food with torn packing and pieces missing from it then they might call exterminators or lay out traps themselves. You were by no means as dumb as a pest, but in this scenario... you were definitely acting like one. And all it would take is one slip up to end up being stuck in a glue trap or something.

You have the following choices:

1. Down to Ciboulette

*Noteb*
2. Over to the food market

3. Keep on looking

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
