Dejectedly, you push yourself off of the curb, Sandra already several feet ahead of you as she runs to her sister. You walk slowly behind her, your hands in your pockets, your head down. What went wrong? This was supposed to be such a good day. A day where you didn't get caught from the person you were stealing from and didn't have to worry about that same person... well, killing you.
You see Montana scanning the ground carefully before finally laying eyes on her sister. She bends close to the ground to speak with her.
"Are you okay, Sandra?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just a little shook up."
Montana sighs. She then puts her hand flat on the ground.
"Here, hop aboard."
Montana carefully lifts up her hand and turns back to her car, putting Sandra on the dashboard.
"Wait here for just a second."
She then turns around and heads right to you.
Oh, boy.
She bends down quickly, glaring at you. She doesn't say anything for a while, she just stares. Finally, she sighs.
"You idiot. What the hell were you thinking, taking the matter transposer? And then you get my sister in danger... as soon as I restore you, I'm calling the cops. Do you still have it?"
You hold up the crumpled piece of metal and drop it in her hand. She looks down at the flea-sized piece of scrap in her palm and groans.
"Do you even know how much of my life went into building this?" She stuffs the transposer into her pocket and then grabs you in her fist, sparing no kindness on you. She walks back to her car and drops you in her purse on the passenger seat. You slam into her various makeup as you fall down and find yourself buried beneath a tube of lipstick, looking up through the hole before she zips it tightly shut. You can hear the engine start, and Montana drives off.
You hear Rebekah talking to her sister. You can't make out anything she's saying and you can't hear Sandra say anything at all. A short while later, the engine stops, and you have arrived somewhere.
