James sat a nearby fountain and watched the many people go about their busy lives. Little did they know that he had a potentially life changing device that could literally change their lives. He watched as whole families walked past him. Fathers with children pointing at the latest dolls and toys in the windows, Mothers pushing carriages with toddlers too busy playing on their own tablets, and Teenagers holding hands while they strolled aimlessly around the mall. "Who should I pick?" James whispered to himself.
"Daddy, I can we go in and look at the toys?" A little girl with her brown hair tied back in a pony tail. She looked cute in the yellow sundress and black mary jane shoes.
"Lizzie, why do you think I will let you do that?" Her father replied with a smile. "It's not like it's your birthday or anything." He picked her up in his arms and put her on his shoulder. "Sure princess, I think we can do that, but first how about we go get an ice cream first. Hmm?"
Lizzie's mouth soon grew into a huge toothy grin. "Really?" Her dad nodded. "Oh thank you daddy." He put her down on the ground and held her hand as they went over to the nearest frozen yogurt stand.
"I always wanted to have a birthday outing." James quietly said to himself. 'But do I want to swap with a girl?' He was soon brought out of his thoughts by a voice he certainly didn't want to hear today.
"Well, lookie who we have here." A familiar voice called out to him. "What are you doing here, Jamie? Looking for some guys?" She asked James as she nudged her 'friends' to signal that he indeed made a joke.
"Look Becky, I really don't want to mess with you today." James responded to her. "How about you and your friends go and check out that sale over at H&M and leave me alone." Her friends couldn't help but look at each other with a look of surprise.
"There's a sale?" The blonde friend quickly asked. "Sorry Becky, but I really need a new bikini for the pool party next week." With that both of her friends quickly turned and made their way over to other side of the mall.
"Wait, Emily... Jessica!" Becky called out to her friends trying to get them to come back, but quickly turned back over to James, who had a nice smile on his face. "This is certainly not the end, Jamie." She pointed her finger over to him before she followed her friends before they got too far out of the way.
"Well, that certainly was fun, but I better get this over with before she talks her friends into coming back and ruining my day." James said to himself as he looked around the mall to see if he could find somebody to swap with. He focused his mind and swapped himself with...
