Chapter #6

Snake Food

    by: Unknown
As you admire your new artifact, you suddenly feel fangs digging into your sides like red-hot knives. For a single moment, pain blinded you-- pain that quickly dulled. Your body hits the floor, suddenly sapped of all energy. You manage the strength to turn your head, and lay eyes on your attacker; a massive Serperior, sizing you up like a vulture circling prey. You saw the bite marks in your side from the serpent’s oversized fangs, and realized what had happened. When she attacked, she didn’t just rip you to pieces like she obviously could’ve at her size-- instead, she injected some kind of venom that paralyzed your every limb. You were helpless to resist whatever plan the serpent had in mind for you… and judging from the hungry look in her eyes, it couldn’t be good.

“W… why?” was all you managed to croak, as the Serperior reared up to stare into your eyes, taunting you, her muzzle so close to yours that you could smell her meaty breath. The other end of her tail was slowly curling around your body, further restraining you, and robbing you of what little hope you had. You struggle weakly in her grip as she bites down on your horn, and you hear a sickening cracking sound. It takes you a few seconds to realize, but she had effortlessly ripped the sharpened blade of your horn right off, so only the base remained. Luckily, it wasn’t painful, as whatever venom she had inflicted you with seemed to dull any sensations.

“Now that that’s out of the way...” she smirked, spitting your horn on to the ground, her eyes showing nothing but hunger and excitement. Both to savor your flavor and to taunt you, she sent a slimy lick along your cheek, and then along your throat, and then wrapping around the back of your neck. She brought her maw forward as she did this and you felt her lips fitting smoothly around your head, until your muzzle was pressed against the back of her throat. Her saliva wet your fur and forced your eyes shut as she pulled your upper body and forepaws into her mouth, and her throat muscles stretched just enough to allow your head entry, while still squeezing incredibly tightly around you.

She uncurled her tail slightly to give her head some room to slide further down your body. The venom was fading, and you had the strength to struggle a bit, but you were still completely helpless against your restraints. All your wriggling seemed to do was bring the Serperior even more sadistic pleasure as she devoured you, whole and alive. You could tell that she was taking her time with you. If she really wanted to eat you on the spot, you’d be in her stomach right now… but instead, your journey into her tight, beckoning throat was agonizingly slow. She only decided to get it over with when nothing but your rear and hind legs still hung from her slobbering maw, and lifted her head in the air, gravity rapidly easing your descent. She swallows repeatedly, sending ripples along the walls of her throat, squeezing you even tighter and pulling you a few more inches in with every swallow.

Finally, she closed her mouth around your hind paws, and your entire body is bathed in darkness. You grow increasingly claustrophobic as your body travels the last few inches into her stomach. The moist, smooth walls gripped tightly around you, preventing you from doing anything more than wriggle around a bit. Her rhythmically undulating muscles squeezed down on you, giving you a bit of a relaxing massage but also further restraining your movement. A bit of oxygen leaked in through the thin stomach lining. It was enough to breathe, but it felt like you were breathing through a straw. At first you were relieved by this, but then you were horrified when another realization hit you. Were you going to be digested alive? You knew snakes like Serperior's tended to digest large meals over the course of days. Honestly, you would’ve preferred to just asphyxiate.

As her stomach begins to settle around you, it grows even tighter, the sac beginning to fit your form like a second skin. You wriggle around a bit to give yourself some breathing room, but you know it will be futile in the end. You ponder your options. You were too drowsy and restrained to use any of your moves. You horn was gone, so you couldn’t slice your way out. The venom still clouded your mind and made it impossible to even choke out words, so you couldn’t even try to convince the serpent to cough you up. You had no options. You notice her curling up and resting her head on the massive bulge in her long belly you made. “Three days. That’s how long most of my snacks your size last. Your first day will be painless, but after that, well...” You can hear her relaxed whispering through her thick stomach walls, not actually caring whether or not you could hear her. “You’re never going to make it out alive… but please, don’t be afraid to wriggle around anyway. I love it when my prey fights back.”

She falls asleep, relaxed by the feeling of large prey squirming her stomach. Over the next few hours, your skin starts to feel irritated, and your fur begins melting off in patches. You realize that the stomach walls were slowly kneading weak stomach acid against your skin… but it was too late to escape by this point. As your consciousness fades as a result of the relentless tightness and moisture, you think solemnly about all the adventures you could’ve had if only the reader had chosen the other option.
