“... Swimming,” said Cassidy. “It’s scientifically proven that swimming is one of the best exercises there is.” “Uh,” says Maddie. “I’m not being critical, Cassidy, but I’m not a sea snake gorgon. I’m a rattlesnake gorgon.” Cassidy gave a scoff. “Nice try, lazy breasts. I read somewhere that all snakes can swim. I think a few laps along Skeleton Lake should do it.” “Skeleton Lake?!” yells Maddie. “But that’s in Winter Way.” Cassidy’s breasts shook as she lowered her head. “And?” she asked. “I don’t mean to criticize your workout program, Cassidy,” said Maddie. “But I’m kind of cold-blooded.” Cassidy let out a sigh. “Alright, Maddie. We’ll take our workout to Summer Side.” Cassidy jogged off, shaking her oversized melons as Maddie followed more slowly, slithering all the way. Maddie then tapped herself in the face. “I can’t help but feel like I’m forgetting something very important.”
Rick at that time (who was completely unaware of his boss’s condition) was waiting at the foot of the front door to the bakery and was waiting for Maddie who had completely forgotten to call him and tell him about what happened. “Where’s Maddie?” asked the human waiting for his skyscraper-sized gorgon boss. “We were supposed to open half an hour ago.” Rick let out a sigh and decided to sit by the door and wait.
At that moment, both Cassidy and Maddie arrived at the beach in Summer Side. There were a lot of monsters and humans sunbathing on the beach who stared at the big breasted harpy and gorgon as they made their way to the water. One human man sunbathing on his obese centicore wife’s left butt cheek took off his sunglasses to get a closer look while the centicore herself bore her sharp teeth at Maddie. Cassidy made a threatening gesture at a male tengu who made eyes at her. “My friend is married,” said the harpy. “And I’m a widow. So back off!” Maddie gave a blush and felt her training bra tearing apart because her breasts were getting bigger.
“Cassidy,” said Maddie. “I don’t know if this is...” Cassidy opened up her wings and then pointed to the water in front of the two of them. “Alright, Maddie. See that red bell buoy out there?" Maddie adjusted her sunglasses before putting goggles on them to make sure they didn’t fall off. “Yes, I see it, Cassidy.” Cassidy nodded her head. "We're going to swim to that buoy and back." Cassidy dove into the water but then gagged because her breasts prevented her from going any deeper. Maddie let out a laugh as the grumpy harpy swam out on the water. Maddie followed but let out a yell because she wasn't used to swimming and her breasts were causing her to swim clumsily. However, Maddie inhaled and started to slowly paddle as she caught up with Cassidy.
Swimming through the water right up to the duo was Joanne Xever, a chubby 1480ft tall mermaid with the lower-body of a yellow-green whale shark with white spots. She had tan skin like that of a Hawaiian woman, long blonde hair and a giant starfish at the side of her head like a hair decoration. Joanne was an artisan who unlike other mermaids who usually didn’t want anything to do with land-dwelling monsters, partially lived in Scream Town and interacted with the land walking populace by use of a harness with a pair of mechanical legs that she attached to her waist when she wants to go topside. As Joanne was swimming, she looked up and spotted Maddie entering the water with her buoyant breasts.
“What in the name of Poseidon is that?” asked the mermaid. Joanne swam up to investigate and caught Maddie by surprise, causing the gorgon to let out a yell and accidentally splash her. Joanne gave a glare and then spat out some water. "Oh," said Maddie. "I'm really sorry about that, Joanne." Joanne shook her head and then she noticed Maddie's breasts. "Maddie?" she asked. "What happened to you?" Maddie gave a giggle. "Let's just say it was something I ate." "Maddie!" yells Cassidy. "Hurry up!" Maddie swims after Cassidy and then Joanne nods her head and swims back under the water.
