Chapter #3The Mall's Arcade by: Unknown “I think we should go to the arcade!” You exclaimed. You saw Ana’s face light up out of the corner of your eye. Kat nodded.
“Sure. That sounds fun.” Kat agreed. You hopped down on the floor, and motioned for the twins to follow you. The three of you began heading off towards the mall’s arcade.
The pace was slow, as you couldn’t walk very fast, but your friends were nice and slowed down to your pace. They walked a few steps behind you, letting you lead the way. The three of you strolled down the mall towards the arcade, attracting a few stares from other passersby. However, you knew you were safe with Kat and Ana to protect you.
Just then, you saw a sale going on in Hot Topic as you passed by. You stopped in your tracks to look at the poster detailing the sale. Hot Topic was selling some really cool anime shirts, and your attention was instantly grabbed. Unfortunately, Ana’s attention was also grabbed, and she didn’t stop walking.
Without a second to react, Ana’s sneakered foot smacked right down into you, knocking you over. Her foot covered up almost your entire body, leaving only your neck and head. Her heavy foot squashed the rest of your body underneath, instantly flattening it. As she took another step, your body stuck to the underside of her foot, and was lifted up into the air.
You were about to scream to get her attention, as she still hadn’t noticed what she had done, but she stepped back down before you were able to alert her. Your head jerked back as she stepped down, and she ended up crushing your head with the tip of her shoe. Now your entire body was pressed into her shoe, flattened and squished with her every step.
“For the love of god Ana.” Kat sighed, a smile on her face. Ana stopped walking and turned to face her sister. Her foot grinded against the floor as she turned, painfully twisting you against the floor.
“What is it Kat?” Ana asked.
“You stepped on Jill you big ditz.” Kat laughed.
“What!” Ana cried. She looked down at her shoes, but did not see you, as you were crushed underneath her shoe. She lifted up her shoe, and blushed furiously as she spotted your mashed form on her shoe. She peeled you off, and you quickly reformed.
She apologized profusely, but you dismissed it with a wave. No harm no foul. You weren’t hurt that bad, and you knew it was an accident. She was one of your best friend’s. You could forgive her for being unobservant. Besides, it definitely wasn’t the first time, and was sure to not be the last.
The rest of the walk to the arcade was quick and uneventful. You easily reached the arcade, and stepped inside.
The arcade in the mall was huge, and it was filled with countless cabinets and games. All the newest games and oldest classics were there. Kat walked off to go buy some tokens, and Ana began scouting the arcade for fun games to play. You were left by yourself.
