Chapter #6

Trapped at Lucy's

    by: Unknown
As the spinning wash cycle began, you had a terrible feeling that things would end up much worse than they already were. To your surprise, you actually retracted that statement mere moments after the cycle had begun. Forceful water sprayed against the bikini top, and your flat body was ripped right off, and sent flying around in circles.

You slapped repeatedly into various articles of clothing, but thankfully didn’t stick to any of them. It was painful every time, but not a single time did you find yourself plastered to fabric, which you were very grateful for. In fact, everything seemed to be working out in your favor. You only had to wait at this point.

A half hour later, the wash cycle came to a close. The girl, whose name was Lucy, wasn’t far behind, and you heard the sound of her opening the washer. Your body had sunk to the bottom of the basin, but that was perfect for you. Lucy didn’t spot you at all as she grabbed the wet clothes and tossed them into the dryer. You had gone through too many cases of mistaken identity in your life that you were glad Lucy had missed you. You really didn’t want to be confused for gum, or fabric, or an insole again.

After five minutes, your body had reformed to normal. The only difference was that you and your clothes were soaking wet, but other than that you were fine. You used the grooves in the washing machine to climb out, as thankfully Lucy had left the top open. You flipped yourself over the edge of the machine, and landed on the carpeted basement floor.

You examined your surroundings, and Lucy was nowhere to be seen, or heard for that matter. You headed towards the basement steps, and scaled them up to the ground floor of Lucy’s house. The house was eerily quiet, but at least no one was around to get in your way or hinder your escape. You smiled at how luck had decided to shine on you today.

And then you realized the flaw in your plan. The front door and back door of Lucy’s house were shut tight and locked. There was no way you would be able to leave out of those exits. The windows were also all shut, and also too high up for you to reach. You tried jumping a few times, just to make sure, but nothing came of it. You were essentially trapped inside of the girl’s house, with no way out. Even if Kat and Ana came to search for you, they wouldn’t be able to get in either.

You threw a brief fit, stomping on the ground and cursing, but you quickly reminded yourself that that wouldn’t solve anything. You needed to take action at a time like this. Kat and Ana were surely worried about you, and you really wanted to get back to them and continue your fun day. This Lucy girl was your only ticket out of this house, so you had to go find her.

You scaled the steps on the ground floor up to the second floor, and you heard a faint noise while standing in the hallway. It seemed to be coming from one of the several rooms, the room with the open door. You slipped into the room, trying to be as cautious as possible. The lights were out in the room, so you didn’t know what to expect.

The noise grew louder and louder, and you quickly deciphered that it was the sound of heavy breathing. Lucy was asleep, and you could see her figure lying out on her bed in the dim light shining through her window. You could tell that she was fast asleep, and probably a heavy sleeper by the sounds of it. You could also just barely tell she was sleeping naked by her body’s outline, and the pile of clothes at the foot of her bed.

You started to doubt the safety of your current plan. If you tried to wake up this girl now, you could easily be squashed or worse. Or, you could wake her right up, she would be super nice, and she would let you go. You could also just go back downstairs and wait for her to wake up on her own, but you didn’t know how long that would take. After weighing your options, you finally reached a decision.
