This choice: Someone Across The Street Yells Over To Pete • Go Back...Chapter #5HEY PETE! by: Rita "Hey Pete!" A familiar voice called from across the street. Pete looked up from his phone and scanned the horizon for whoever beckoned him. Pete could make out a figure in the distance, but the sunlight was directly behind them. Pete looked both ways down the street(safety first, folks), and made his way across the road. Now practically right next to them, Pete could clearly see the person who called him over was none other than:
Wyatt Connors: Pete's 20 year old cousin. Wyatt was a scrawny, red headed geek. Clearly the black sheep of the family, Wyatt spent most of the Connors family gatherings in the corner, keeping to himself. It wasn't until recently that Pete had made an effort to go out of his way and talk to Wyatt, trying his very best to have him socialize a little bit. And although they got along just fine, Wyatt was still very shy and these communications were kept at a minimum. Despite his social anxiety, Wyatt was probably doing better than any other person in Pete's family, money wise anyways. Wyatt had just designed a very addictive app, one that matches the likes of Clash Of Clans, or any other of those pay to play games. What he was doing with all that money was something everyone in the Connors family was curious about. Wyatt loves banana pudding, Firefly, and playing the saxophone.
Gary Wallace: Pete's 18 year old friend. Pete would say that right after Jack, Gary would be his closest friend. Not exactly saying much, considering Pete's limited friends list, but they were still relatively close. Pete would spend more time with Gary if they weren't in such completely different friend circles. Where Pete was more of a nerdy loner, Gary was a popular athletic guy. Captain of the swim team, honor roll student, and even Class President, Gary found himself in the company of much different people than Pete did. Despite the difference in social standing, Gary still preferred to spend time with Pete, who treated him like just a regular guy. Something Gary deeply appreciated. Gary likes the ocean, marine biology, and surfing.
Andy Wainright: local police officer. Pete didn't know much about this man, but he was somewhat grateful to him. Once, Pete and Jack were drinking beer in a parking lot and officer Wainwright stumbled across them. While Pete tried his best to cover the empty bottles lying around inside his car, Jack had drank at least four more beers and was far more noticeably drunk than Pete was. Wainwright just chuckled at the two inebriated teenagers and told them to stay off the roads. Peter just assumed he was a cool cop, but over time he couldn't help but feel like the officer had implied that he owed him. Andy hates loud music, sweet food, and facial piercings. indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
