Avoni gave a sigh as she approached the door of her next dungeon: a tomb with the family name "Senim" engraved in Daedric characters on its entrance. Ancestral tombs were an integral part of Dunmer culture, and were located all over the island continent. Her own namesake, Indalen, even had one, nestled between the steep hills that surrounded the Imperial town Caldera - although, with her current lifestyle, the young Dunmer silently worried if she would actually be interred there, instead of in a ditch by some bandit camp or in the intestines of some hungry monster...
Avoni exhaled another breath as she examined the entrance of the crypt. Tombs like these were all generally built in the same style - they had modest doors, downward passageways, and some winding halls and rooms of various sizes, full of burial urns filled with ashes and other valuable trinkets buried with their former owners. However, other than that, there was no telling who else would be inside - sometimes, Avoni got lucky, and the tombs were either empty or full of some restless undead. Other times, she was not as much, and ran into bandits or necromancer or vampires, or, worst of all, Daedra.
Of course, the nightblade wouldn't know what approach to take in this dungeon until she got a glimpse of her enemy. For that reason, she usually preferred to sneak in. However, if the enemy within were truly powerful and noticed her before she noticed it, she would be in big trouble, especially if she were alone...
