As you pondered over what to do with the glasses, Hayley took the girl to mom's study where mom eyed her and the little girl before sighing as Hayley closed the door. "Hayley, what happened to Harry?" Serious, she demanded.
"You know its me?!" Showing relief, Harry asked. "I thought everyone would think I was crazy if I tried to convince them of who I was! I had to put on this Victorian girl's dress I had bought for Hannah as nothing else fit..."
"Everyone has a specific aura, Harry." Interrupting her, mom explained. "I am among those few who can detect these auras. What happened... young lady?"
"Well, I bought these old glasses at Forester's antiques store." To mom's frown, Harry said. "I was seeing if they did anything for me as my eyes get tired from time to time."
"This happened after you put on these glasses?" Raising an eyebrow, mom asked.
Harry winced. "Well, no. This happened after I used them to try to read a weird book I got from the same store last week. It was called the magic book, beginner's edition."
Mom's eyes widened slightly before she exchanged a weary look with Hayley. "Where is this book and these glasses now?" Looking at Harry, mom demanded.
"The book I left at home but I brought the glasses over with me." Blushing, Harry said.
She reached into a pocket of her dress but froze as it was not there. "It must have fallen out when I slipped off of John's bed."
"Oh dear..." Worried, mom muttered.
Hayley rushed out of the study and ran to your bedroom to find you...
